Great facilities, but plenty of room for improvement
Proximity to the castle, easy access to the thermal baths, hotel facilities, room and bed comfortable, dinner and breakfast options (after 2nd day), some reception staff and especially the wellness centre staff. Kids entertainment, kids play room look amazing
No info given about dinner and breakfast (when we went down we waited for aprox 10 minutes at the entrance to be only told rudely/abruptly by a waiter "just sit where you want!" - basically you can go in and sit wherever you want as noone cares (room number not needed at any point) Food on first 2 days was well below average and very very salty, days 3-4-5 food was amazing. Altough we had the "do not disturb" sign on the door housekeeping did go in our room and changed sheets and emptied bin - This should have never happened!! Staff not really sure on hotel policies (ie when bathrobes get changed) Some of reception staff really difficult to approach when hungarian is not your first language ( we are fluent hungarian speakers bur some staff did act like they had no clue what we were saying). Bathrobes provided on day 4 were ripped and well beyond their use by date not 4* ! No communication between reception and housekeeping, we arranged an 11am check out but no message was passed to housekeeping, lucky I ran into housekeeper on way to sauna and informed her. No tea/coffee making facilities in room.
